Job DescriptionThis is a hybrid position in Miami Lakes, FL.JOB SUMMARYThe Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for the administration, coordination, facilitation, and execution of talent and leadership development initiatives within the Go for More Academy. This role serves as a key contributor to the successful delivery of BankUnited's organizational development strategy by supporting programs that strengthen leadership capability, employee growth, succession readiness, career development, performance effectiveness, and employee engagement. The Specialist independently facilitates recurring development programs, administers talent management processes, analyzes program and survey data, and provides operational support that enables impactful development experiences across the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Administer, coordinate, and execute organizational development and talent management programs that support BankUnited's talent strategy and leadership pipeline. Manage the day-to-day execution of high-potential development programs, including participant selection, assessment administration, executive coordination, communications, scheduling, logistics, and program tracking. Independently facilitate multiple recurring leadership, professional development, and organizational effectiveness programs for employees and managers. Deliver communication and provide training to support leaders and teams undergoing organizational change. Support the administration of BankUnited's performance management process, including monitoring completion status, responding to employee and manager inquiries, providing process guidance, and executing communication campaigns throughout the appraisal cycle. Administer employee engagement and feedback surveys, analyze results, identify trends, and prepare reports and presentations for leaders and stakeholders. Conduct organizational assessments to identify workforce, leadership, culture, and performance opportunities. Coordinate career pathing initiatives and provide administrative and project support for development planning activities. Support the creation of leadership competency frameworks and development pathways. Maintain talent management data, including talent profiles, 9-box assessments, succession slates, development plans, and related reporting. Generate reports, dashboards, and insights to support organizational development initiatives and talent-related decision-making. Partner with leaders, managers, participants, and internal stakeholders to ensure a high-quality participant experience across all assigned programs. Maintain program materials, learning resources, participant records, and administrative documentation while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity. 0% - 10% travel required. Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.). Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training. Identifies and reports suspicious activity.QUALIFICATIONSEducation Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Education, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.Experience Three to five years of professional experience in organizational development, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, human resources, or a related discipline Financial industry experience preferredLicenses and Certifications Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, ATD, DiSC, MBTI, or similar credentials are preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated experience facilitating instructor-led learning programs and group discussions. Experience administering talent management, leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, or succession planning processes preferred. Strong project management, organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful reports and recommendations. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
