GEODUCK FARM HARVESTERS NEEDED — OLYMPIA, WA
We are hiring reliable workers for low-tide geoduck beach harvesting. No diving is required.
Our schedule follows the tides:
Winter: Primarily night shifts
Spring and summer: Primarily day shifts
Shift times and workdays vary according to the tides
Experienced night-shift harvesters: $30–$33/hour, depending on experience, plus a per-pound production bonus. A productive harvester may earn an additional $45–$100 per night.
$26-$28/hour on the night-shift is for workers with very little or no previous geoduck-harvesting experience
Day-shift work is $2 less, generally easier and less physically demanding.
Boat operation experience is preferred. Applicants must be dependable, physically capable of working on tidal beaches, and available for a changing tide schedule.
